Museum Hours

Welcome to the Andrew Low House Museum. We are open seven days a week to the public. Our hours are:

Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last tour begins at 4:00 p.m.)
Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last tour begins at 4:00 p.m.)

The Museum is closed to the public on the following holidays:

New Year’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day Parade Day
Easter Sunday
July 4th
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas

The Andrew Low House Museum will be closed for maintenance January 8 – 21, 2024.

Admission & Tips for Visiting

Admission includes access to our courtyard, historic garden, and a guided tour of our historic home. Guided tours are offered on the hour and half-hour daily. Reservations are not necessary for individual guests or for groups with less than 10 people. See Group Tours section for detailed information about specialized guided tours and making reservations for groups.

Written Tours

We are happy to provide written interpretive tours for the hearing impaired, please ask your guide. Written tours are available in Spanish, German, French, and Chinese.

Tips for Visiting and Access

  • Personal non-flash photography is welcome, unless otherwise noted in signage. We ask that when you take photos please do so with care. Do not obstruct the view of other visitors and be careful not to brush against any furnishings or other collection objects.
  • The Museum does not have a public restroom. Visitors are encouraged to use nearby facilities prior to visiting.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the Museum. You can enjoy drinks or snacks that you bring in our beautiful Courtyard before entering the home.
  • Please be aware that our historic home was designed and constructed in 1848-1849 and therefore, is not built to be ADA compliant. We regret that we cannot accommodate wheelchair access and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Service animals are the only animals permitted in the Museum.
  • Help us protect and preserve the collection by not touching the furnishings and staying at least 15 inches away from objects while touring the house.
